Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year: Don Gonzales ’95 on Solving Problems That Change Lives
For Dr. Donald Gonzales ’95, entrepreneurship began with a decision to start looking for problems worth solving. As a third-year otolaryngology resident at Tulane University Medical School, Gonzales challenged himself to develop and submit one new idea each week to the university’s technology transfer office. His third submission became the basis for his first company, ENTrigue Surgical, and launched a career at the intersection of medicine and entrepreneurship.
