Quantum In Theater

This past Saturday evening saw the Physics department make a rare trip to the Barrington Center for the Arts. They were there for a performance in the black box, titled DICE, presented by fellow physics major Nick Hammes. DICE is the culmination of a year spend studying quantum wave function interpretations and the application of physics theory to theater. Drawing inspiration from playwrights such as Stoppard, Nick analyzed Copenhagen, Bohr, de Broglie, and others, to see how their interpretations could be viewed through the medium of theater. The successful performance was applauded by physics and theater majors alike.
