The Gordon College Physics Club was recognized by the national Society of Physics Students as having been an outstanding chapter for the 2010–2011 school year. Gordon College was one of only four colleges and universities in New England to receive this recognition. In addition to physics study halls for high school students, some of the events that our physics students have orchestrated include trips to the Boston to the Museum of Science, trips to various research colloquia in Boston, Halloween and Christmas parties, movie nights, guest speakers, a weekend retreat, and more.
