REC-IM Staff

REC-IM is a student-led campus group, offering employment to students as staff members, referees and more. The REC-IM staff team is made up of six student workers and is advised by Greg Scruton, Director of Campus Recreation. 

Interested in working for REC-IM? 

Student staff: Staff positions are full-year and applications open in the spring semester.

Referees: Referee positions are seasonal, fill out our interest form to apply. 

All Hall Championship

The All-Hall Championship is a year-long competition between hall affiliations for points based on their participation and success in Rec-IM activities. At the end of the year, the all-hall trophy is presented in Chapel to the hall affiliation with the most points.

How do I register for a Rec-IM league or tournament?

Go to Gordon 360 to sign up and find upcoming events, results, and other information.

Are there roster requirements for the teams I join?

The roster requirements for teams differ based on the event.

Leagues: Every team must consist of members all from your Hall or partner Hall(s) with the exception of a certain amount of ‘free agents’ that may be from any Hall. The amount of ‘free agents’ will vary based on the specific league that you join. This information will always be posted in the league description on Gordon 360.

Tournaments: There are no Hall affiliation rules for tournaments. You may have any number of people from any Halls you wish on your team.

Other roster requirements: For some events, there are varsity athlete and gender restrictions which will be included in the description for the specific event on Gordon 360.

When and where do the events take place?

Most events take place indoors at the Bennett Center, outside on Ferrin Field or at the Brigham Athletic Complex. In addition, some events are held in activity-based locations such as classrooms in KOSC for video game tournaments or residence hall lounges for ping pong tournaments.

Most events take place between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, or any time after 10 a.m. on Saturdays.
