Health Science

Healthcare jobs are among the fastest-growing jobs in the country, and Gordon is located near the healthcare hub of Boston, which houses some of the country’s top hospitals and facilities for treatment, research and education. Overall employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow 13 percent from 2021 to 2031. This increase will result in about two million new jobs over the decade. Success in healthcare requires both competence and compassion. That’s why at Gordon we care about the human side of medicine and cultivating a servant’s heart. In addition to a strong science foundation and hands-on experiences, you’ll develop the soft skills of compassion, hospitality and care that are critical for success. The health science (B.S.) major at Gordon College is a holistic major with eight health professions concentrations and a minor.
