Undergraduate Research Symposium
The Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual spring event that provides undergraduate researchers from Gordon College with the opportunity to present their faculty mentored research to the campus community.

This is the time to showcase your hard work and learn from your peers. Plan now to participate in the annual Gordon Undergraduate Research Symposium. We hope you will join!
Please note the following instructions and deadlines. We have set the deadlines as late as we feel comfortable, so please adhere to them.
Symposium Registration Due
Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at midnight.
- Register online.
- Answer all questions and submit.
- Select one student to be the Lead Author.
- You will need to provide: all other student authors, any co-author(s), faculty advisor(s), and the abstract title.
Symposium Abstracts Due
Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at midnight.
- After you have registered for the symposium, the Lead Author will receive all details for abstract submittal by email to share with group.
- 150-word abstract required.
- Email abstracts to [email protected]
Symposium Day
Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 1:30–4:00 p.m.
- Each research project will be assigned to a billboard space in the Loggia.
- The author (or one of the authors in the case of multiple authors) should plan to be at their poster between 3 and 4, and as much of the other time as possible. We recognize that class conflicts may not make this possible..
Preparing your Poster
- Poster Printing & Sizes
- Maximum Size – Height 3’ x Width 4’ maximum.
- If you need the Print Shop to print your poster, please work with your professor. Please be aware that the Print Shop requires at least 5 business days for print jobs. Print requests may be submitted through the Print Shop's online form.
