Bennett Center
The Gordon College Bennett Center is our 78,000 sq. ft. athletics and recreational sports facility. A gift to the Gordon community from the George and Helen Bennett family, the $8 million dollar center was completed in October 1996 and in 1997 won the Athletics Business Magazine Top Ten New Facilities Award for its design and usability.
Special Closings
- Friday, May 17 (Gordon College Baccalaureate)—Facility Open 6 a.m.–4 p.m.; Fitness Center 6 a.m.–3:45 p.m.; Pool 6 a.m.–10 a.m.
- Saturday, May 18 (Gordon College Graduation)—Bennett Center CLOSED.
The Bennett Center is home to:

- LaVida outdoor education rock gym
- Harmeling Physical Therapy
- Recreation—Intramurals
- A variety of classes and activities
The Bennett Center is available for the use of Gordon College and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Lower Level:
- A spacious lobby with helpful staff
- 6-lane, 25 yard, short-course pool
- Gymnasium with three full courts and seating for 1,500 spectators
- Group exercise room for aerobics classes
- Three racquetball courts
- An indoor rock gym
- Men's and women's locker rooms with saunas
- Concession area
Upper Level:
- Strength stations
- Free-weight areas
- Aerobic equipment
- Elevated indoor jogging track
- Athletic offices
