Bennett Athletics Center

The Gordon College Bennett Athletics and Recreation Center is our 78,000 sq. ft. athletics and recreational sports facility. The Bennett Center is a gift to the Gordon community from the George and Helen Bennett family. The $8 million center was completed in October 1996 and in 1997 won the Athletics Business Magazine Top Ten New Facilities Award for its design and usability. It is home to:

• Gordon's Fighting Scot Athletics 
• Gordon Recreation
• LaVida outdoor education rock gym
• Harmeling Physical Therapy 
• Variety of classes and activities.

The Bennett Center at Gordon College is our campus athletics and recreation facility for students, faculty, staff, alumni and GCTS. It is not open to the general public.

FACILITIES
The Bennett Center features:

Lower Level:

• A spacious lobby with helpful staff
• 6-lane, 25 yard, short-course pool
• Gymnasium with three full courts and seating for 1,500 spectators
• Group exercise room for aerobics classes
• Three racquetball courts
• An indoor rock gym
• Men's and women's locker rooms with saunas
• Concession area

Upper Level:

• Strength stations
• Free-weight areas
• Aerobic equipment
• Elevated indoor jogging track
• Athletic offices
