David L. Franz, Pioneer for American Higher Education
David L. Franz, Ph.D., professor of history at Gordon College from 1951–1991 and professor emeritus, passed away Thursday, November 6, from congestive heart failure. He taught history at Gordon for 40 years and founded Gordon's groundbreaking European Seminars.
