Fall Orientation

Welcome to Gordon!
Orientation Welcome Week is your chance to settle into college life before the “school” part begins. Its purpose is to make you feel at home here. Sure, you are the new kid in school, but so are 400-plus others—who, for the most part, also don’t know where to go for their first class or who to ask about fire-safe room décor (which is something you’ll hear a lot about later!). In addition to having a good understanding of college basics, we want you to have fun and start out your Gordon College experience with a few familiar faces around campus.

The Important Dates for Welcome Week

  • August 23 (Friday): Welcome Week 2024 begins! Friday is Move-in Day to get you settled and start getting connected. There's also a Parent and Family Orientation program to help your family with their own transitions. See below for earlier arrivals.

  • August 21 (Wednesday): International Student Orientation begins
  • August 22 (Thursday): August La Vida arrival
