Friday, August 14 | International Student Orientation and Clarendon City Scholars Orientation begins |
Thursday, August 20 | August La Vida arrival |
Friday, August 21 | Welcome Week 2026 begins! Friday is Move-in Day to get you settled and start getting connected. There's also a Parent and Family Orientation program to help your family with their own transitions. |
Saturday, August 22 | Family Day: Morning parent and family sessions, Celebration of Affirmation and Assurance, and then Orientation Kickoff in the afternoon and evening |
Sunday, August 23 | North Shore Day: Your chance to worship and reflect, settle into campus and explore the local area (transportation provided!) |
Monday, August 24 | Academic Day: Welcome to Faith, Learning and Living at Gordon; academic sessions, meet-your-faculty, academic advising and schedule check, academic resource sessions for making a great start |
Tuesday, August 25 | Campus Life Day: Where Faith, Learning, and Living comes to life! Includes cookout on the Quad and annual Campus Jobs Connections fair |
Wednesday, August 26 | First Day of Class: A day of firsts, your first breakfast on the first day of classes, and your first Chapel, your first syllabus and (probably) at least one first homework assignment! |
Thursday, August 27 | Church Connections: Meet and greet over 40 local churches from a variety of local congregations eager to make a connection with you for worship and ministry |
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 28-30 | First Weekend: Find something to do each day this weekend from the activities and opportunities we've planned to help continue feeling right at home and meeting new friends |
Wednesday, September 2 | Scottie Faire: All-out event with student clubs, organizations, missions, community engagement partners and Gordon programs to get involved in, with dinner Faire-style! |
