Safety & Wellness

Gordon College is here to support your health and well-being. Consistently ranked as one of the safest colleges in Massachusetts, our campus strives to provide professional and consistent levels of care with every student interaction.

We believe wellness is the integration of the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, social, vocational, academic and relational dimensions of health to form a whole healthy person. It is the pursuit of health, whereby an individual actively seeks a collection of preventive practices and processes in which all dimensions of that person’s health are addressed to achieve optimal well-being and minimize conditions of illness. Wellness involves being aware of ourselves and others as whole people. Our collective wellness is the foundation for a thriving community.

Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention

National Recognition

Campus Prevention Network

Gordon College has earned the 2026 Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention, a recognition reserved for institutions that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to student success, well-being, and institutional excellence. The bar is high—only 12% of colleges nationwide earn this seal. According to CPN, the seal is a "validation that your institution is strategically investing in evidence-based approaches that create measurable impact across important areas such as sexual assault prevention, mental health, substance use prevention, and community building." Gordon is proud to be recognized for work that keeps students safe.
