Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA) Conference
Gordon College is pleased to announce to MMEA members that they may receive graduate credit through Gordon's Graduate Music Education program for attending the annual MMEA All-State Conference.

Why Register for Graduate Credit?
- If you are currently pursuing, or plan to pursue a Master of Music Education Degree, graduate credit can be transferable to other institutions in addition to Gordon, to fulfill elective requirements
- Teachers who accumulate graduate credit can qualify for salary lane change increases within their school districts
- The requirements are simple; proof of attendance and a summary paper reviewing what you learned from attending conference sessions and concerts.
- Special MMEA/Gordon partnership discount; only $350 for one (1) graduate credit
Registration
- Register for participation in the MMEA conference through the MMEA website.
- Register for graduate credit through Gordon College Graduate Education.
- Register on-site at the Gordon College exhibit booth in the conference exhibits area.

Credit
One graduate credit; may be transferable to another institution if approved by that institution. Credit is applicable as elective credit in Master of Music Education Program at Gordon.
Tuition
$350 (1 credit)
Requirements
- Attend a minimum of 10 sessions over the 2-day conference
- Proof of attendance (i.e. electronic copy of conference payment receipt, or scan of name badge)
- Written reflections summary paper as follows
The written reflections summary consists of two parts:
- A detailed list of sessions attended including date and times for each
- A summary paper of no more than five double-spaced pages detailing specific knowledge and techniques gained, and how you plan to apply them to your teaching practices.
Note: The written assignment can be submitted as a pdf email attachment (with attendance/registration proof included) to [email protected].
Deadline for written assignment submission: April 27, 2026
Grading
All students will receive a letter grade and will be emailed an electronic copy of an unofficial grade report. Anyone wishing to request an official transcript can visit www.gordon.edu/transcripts for instructions.
