Community & Household Employment Opportunities

The Career and Connection Institute (CCI) supports Gordon students by sharing part-time, seasonal, and occasional employment opportunities submitted by members of the broader community. To help connect students with local opportunities while maintaining clear expectations, CCI uses the following process for community job postings.

  1. Post a Job
  1. Community jobs are positions submitted by individuals and families seeking to hire Gordon students for personal, seasonal, temporary, or part-time work.

    Examples may include:

    • Babysitting or nanny positions
    • Tutoring
    • Yard work or home projects
    • Personal assistant roles
    • Seasonal caregiving
    • Moving assistance
    • Pet sitting
    • Event support

These opportunities are distinct from formal employer recruiting partnerships and are intended as informational resources for students.

    • Gordon Faculty or Staff
    • Affiliates with a reference from a Gordon faculty, staff member, or current Gordon student
    • Reference from another approved employer or community organization
  2. Approved community jobs will be shared through:

    • The CCI Physical Job Board located on campus in Jenks 213
    • The CCI Canvas Community Jobs Page

CCI reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any posting before publication.

  3. Complete the Community & Household Jobs Request Form.

    Submission Requirements:

    • Name and contact information
    • Position description and responsibilities
    • Expected dates/hours
    • Compensation details
    • Work location
    • Any required qualifications or expectations

CCI may request additional information before approving a posting

If your job is approved, then you will receive notification via email.

  4. Community job postings will remain active for 30 days, unless otherwise requested by the poster. Posters may request an earlier removal date if the position is filled sooner.

After 30 days, postings will automatically expire and be removed unless a renewal request is submitted.
