Yi Sun

About:

Dr. Sun joined Gordon College in 2021. Her research interests focus on preserving the health and independence of older adults by conducting translational and interdisciplinary research broadly related to the prevention of age-associated physical and cognitive disability. Her research projects involve the principles of exercise physiology, biological aging, gut microbiome, and pharmacology. Incorporating both human and pre-clinical rodent models, her research goal is to work collaboratively to conduct high quality studies to ultimately improve quality of life for older adults.
