Stephanie Hadden brings 30 years of experience leading teams in public accounting and corporate finance. She began her career in the audit and assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she served clients in financial services and not-for-profit segments. Following thirteen years in public accounting, Stephanie joined Manulife John Hancock in successive roles as head of Global Accounting Policy, Controller of the Long-Term Care Division, and finally leading the US Reinsurance Center of Expertise. Most recently, she managed Treasury Operations for General Electric’s wholly-owned insurance company, Electric Insurance. Throughout her career, Stephanie enjoyed working with clients and colleagues to understand accounting, regulatory and technical developments, and form strategies for training and implementation. Stephanie began teaching Accounting at Gordon in 2018 and loves sharing her knowledge and experience with students.
Stephanie lives in Beverly with her husband Bruce, and enjoys time with family and friends, exploring nature, music, and serving with her church outreach team. She also volunteers as a tax preparer for the Bootstraps Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
