Bio

Before coming to Gordon, Dr. Wyatt led RLW Consulting, his own higher education search consultancy firm that focused on helping smaller colleges and universities thrive. Prior to founding this practice, Dr. Wyatt was the Vice President for Advancement and Communications at Quincy University in Quincy, IL. During his time there, the university achieved unprecedented levels of fundraising success, setting new records for both single-year fundraising and total annual giving.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Wyatt served for 10 years as President of Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina. In that time, Coker was named one of the five most innovative colleges and universities in the Southeast by U.S. News & World Report and was also ranked nationally by Washington Monthly and The Princeton Review. Under Wyatt’s leadership, Coker also grew its endowment by 43%, constructed numerous buildings, and received multi-million-dollar grants from the National Science Foundation, the Teagle Foundation, and the Sonoco Foundation.

Dr. Wyatt has also been Dean of the Breech School of Business Administration at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and Dean of the McAfee School of Business Administration at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.
