AFRO Hamwe

Afro-Hamwe connects and unifies the students of African descent (Afro) on campus. It provides a space for Afro students to share their experiences and views on a variety of social, political, historical and religious topics and challenges members to act, whether it be internally (on-campus) or externally (off-campus). Members of Afro-Hamwe encourage cultural identity with the goal of empowering members to become productive members of society.

ASIA

Asian Students in America (ASIA) serves to promote awareness of Asian heritage at Gordon College. The club connects and unifies students of Asian heritage and provides a space for them to share their experiences. It also provides a space for students to receive spiritual, personal, academic cultural and social support. Its goal is to experience, examine and increase awareness of the Asian identity by hosting social, educational, cultural and community service events.

Chinese Christian Fellowship

Chinese Christian Fellowship (CCF) at Gordon College is a vibrant and inclusive community that aims to nurture spiritual growth and foster a sense of belonging among Chinese Christian students on campus. CCF promotes fellowship and discipleship amongst Chinese students while exploring their Christian identity in the context of Chinese culture.

Dear Neighbor

Dear Neighbor works to promote racial reconciliation and the celebration of our diverse student body. Dear Neighbor is open to any student passionate about justice and education amongst their peers, through Christ like lens. Their annual three day event, Triple A (Awareness, Activism, Allyship) brings the campus together with student led panels, workshops, service, and celebrations.

La Raza

La Raza exists to unify the Latino voice on campus and to have a place of inclusion and safeness governed by Christian principles. It provides a space for Latinx students to share their experiences and views on social, political, religious and historical topics that impact people of Hispanic heritage.

MuKappa

Gordon College's chapter of MuKappa International provides a platform for third-culture and missionary kids to have a strong sense of belonging, foster meaningful relationships, and transition well to campus life while maintaining a keen understanding of their particularity. MuKappa is a ministry of Barnabas International. 

Outcast Podcast

Outcast Podcast is an extension of Gordon College's chapter of Mukappa. It provides a space for international and multicultural students to share their cross-cultural journeys with the global community to help bring understanding to the global nomads' diverse perspectives on the world. On Outcast, you'll hear stories of the cultural challenges and joys that third-culture students experience while studying in the United States. Serving Opportunities for Non-International Students

Throughout the year, the International Student Office recruits volunteers to support our international students by assisting with resources, programs, and events. Faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to take advantage of these amazing opportunities to interact with and support international students.

WSDM

WSDM is a worship dance group that focuses on multiple cultural dance styles and ministering to the Gordon community in Chapel services and other ISO events.

ISO Worship Band

The International Student Office (ISO) Worship Band is a worship team made up of true worshippers who embrace Holy Spirit-led worship and celebrate cultural diversity! Our mission is to worship JESUS with all our hearts and be used as instruments by GOD to bring people from all cultural backgrounds in worship as one body in Christ, with JESUS as the Head.

"God's Chosen" Gospel Choir

“God’s Chosen” Gospel Choir is dedicated to creating an environment of praise and worship for our campus, and performing in Chapel and at our annual Gospel Experience concert. We also aim to disciple and encourage one another through devotionals, prayer requests and testimonies.

One Body

“One Body” seeks to build community by leading the student body in meaningful worship that reflects the diversity of the Kingdom of God. “One Body” desires to praise God not just with song, but with action as well. We strive to unify the student body by providing a setting in which worship unities all individuals to praise and give honor to God.
