Communication and Culture Minor

How does communication impact culture? Through the lens of your faith, confidently explore the impact of communication through the communication and culture minor at Gordon College. You will unpack the dynamic interplay between communication practices, cultural identities and social power structures, giving you a unique viewpoint as you pursue your career in the communication arts.

Why study communication and culture at a top Christian college?

At Gordon communication arts are housed in our Fine Arts Division—and that’s important. We value the art of visual storytelling—the act of living a story, not just telling one. This means you’ll gain experience working with a range of media, including print, digital and film. Thanks to Gordon’s low student-to-faculty ratio, you will be mentored by highly experienced faculty who will prepare you for excellence and meaning in your work. In addition to an excellent classroom experience, you can learn through experiences like internships, campuswide competitions and student clubs. After graduating you’ll join a network of connected alumni who live their faith and excel in their careers.

Our goal at Gordon is for you to become confident in who God made you to be, prepared with the tools to make a positive impact through your work.
