Gordon College’s finance degree prepares you to evaluate opportunities, understand financial markets, and guide the responsible use of financial resources.
As a finance major, you will study how businesses raise capital, manage risk, and plan for the future. The Bachelor of Arts in Finance prepares you for work in corporate finance, financial planning, investment management, insurance, and other areas of the financial industry while encouraging you to connect your professional goals with your values.

Gordon’s finance program combines applied coursework with professional preparation and close faculty mentorship. Students build a strong foundation in financial analysis while learning how to respond to changing markets and complex financial decisions.
Qualified students may sit for Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) exam before graduation, and Gordon graduates have built a strong record on the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) exam. These opportunities support early preparation for professional credentials and careers in finance.
Located just north of Boston, Gordon also provides access to internships and learning opportunities near a major financial center. Faculty draw on industry experience to help students connect coursework with professional practice, refine their goals, and prepare for the next step after graduation.
