Connect with Students on Handshake

Connecting with college students is a strategic way to recruit talented students with low recruitment costs and enhancing the company’s reputation. Handshake does exactly this by connecting you with Gordon students in both personal and impersonal situations.

Handshake at Gordon serves as a centralized employer and job posting database for students to search for internship and employment opportunities. By showcasing current job openings on Handshake, you will have the opportunity to invite Gordon students to learn about your company and submit applications directly to you.

Handshake is also the platform for local individuals in the Gordon community to hire students for jobs like babysitting, nannying, landscaping, shoveling, etc.

CCI hosts and co-sponsors career fairs throughout the year that features local employers who desire to recruit Gordon students. You can participate in career fairs to meet top-notch students who have what it takes to succeed in a professional environment. Some benefits include:

Engage with Students

If you would like to take a step further and directly engage with students, there are opportunities throughout the semester for you!

1. Influence the next generation of talent
   Your advice is valuable to current students so that they can better prepare themselves to match up to the level of your company’s needs. Join the annual Calling & Career Conference as a guest speaker to influence and interact with our students.
2. Engage in the classroom  
   Come into the classroom to share about your company’s work and teach students real-life applications to their studies. Popularize your company’s brand name and create opportunities to hire talented employees!  
3. Connect at the Vendor Table  
   Located in Lane Student Center, the CCI Vendor Table is situated just inside the entrance nearest the Chapel (see the map of our campus). This table is usually reserved from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. or 4:30–6:00 p.m., when this location receives the highest amount of foot traffic. There is no charge to reserve this table.
