Information for Alumni
As a Gordon alum, you are an important part of the Gordon community. We celebrate the difference you’re making in your organization, industry or professional community—and invite you to stay connected by using Career and Connection Institute's resources and sharing your professional expertise with current students.
Take advantage of the resources provided by CCI
Graduation does not mean an end to your access to CCI staff or programming. Alumni are welcome to attend workshops, events and recruitment fairs; meet with career professionals on campus or over Skype to develop or refresh skills for the job search; and use CCI's networking connections and other tools. If you’re anticipating a career change, we’d love to help you make or deepen connections in your new industry or professional role. Learn more about the resources CCI offers.
Share or access job and internship postings
Help connect current students with professional opportunities by sharing job and internship postings from your organization to the College’s career platform, Handshake. Through that same platform, you have access to countless new job opportunities in a wide range of industries. Visit Handshake at Gordon.
Host an internship for a current student
As part of Gordon’s commitment to providing internship experiences for all students, we would love to work with you or your organization to expand internship access and awareness. You can support and provide internship opportunities by hiring a Gordon student at your organization, making an introduction to a professional in your network who is seeking an intern, or putting CCI staff in touch with the campus relations staff or internship coordinators at your company.
Share your professional expertise with students
It’s hard to understand a company, industry or professional role until you are in it—but learning from alumni mentors is a great way for students to deepen their understanding of potential careers. You can partner with CCI to share your professional expertise by providing resume reviews or mock interviews, serving as a guest speaker for an industry panel, hosting student groups at your company for a tour and information session, and inspiring students through Convocation talks or the annual Calling and Career Conference for sophomores. Contact CCI to get involved.
