What brought you to Gordon?
I value a place of employment where the integration of faith into every aspect of life is encouraged. I was also looking to make a move to the East Coast and a move away from coaching track, which I had been doing since graduating college in 2011. Working in residence life at Gordon checked all those boxes.
What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
I enjoy the opportunity to build relationships with students and colleagues from a variety of different backgrounds, combined with the numerous opportunities for problem-solving.
What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
I like the location. This area of the North Shore is beautiful and close to the ocean and Boston. Plus, New York City and the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire are close enough for a weekend trip.
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I’m a big fan of traveling and exploring. I completed my goal of visiting all 50 states last year, and my next goal is to visit every continent (Yes, including Antarctica). I also enjoy photography, sports, and keeping up with current events.
Favorite memory from College:
That’s tough, but I’d have to go with winning a national title in the 4x400-meter relay my junior year.
What is your favorite hall event?
Anything that involves competition!
