B.A. in English Language and Literature and Christian Ministries, Gordon College, MA
M.A. in Theology, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, MA
What brought you to Gordon?
There are three women in my family and all three of us attended Gordon College for our undergraduate degrees. This school holds a special place in my heart and began my love for ministry. I was part of the residence life program and the chapel office during my time here which really gave me a heart for serving college students. After my time in graduate school, I was looking for a way to continue to serve the Gordon community. When this job presented itself, I was very excited to apply and was blessed enough to be hired. I’m looking forward to giving back and serve a community that means so much to me.
What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
College years can be the best but also the most challenging years of someone’s life. In Residence Life we have the chance to create a space of welcome and hospitality so that students can grow and develop. Seeing them become the people God has created them and called them to be is the biggest blessing.
What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
I love how so many students care about Gordon and want to see it become the best place it can be. It’s exciting to see how students, the staff, and the faculty care for each other. There are also some great coffee shops in the area!
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I love visiting the beaches and local coffee shops in the area. I also love baking as a hobby and I’m trying to master the perfect pie. New England has so many things to do and see and it’s one of my favorite places in the world.
What is your favorite college memory?
Spending late nights in Chester’s with my friends was always the best thing.
What is your favorite hall event?
When I was at Gordon my favorite event was King of the Hill! Those water balloon fights were the best!
