What brought you to Gordon?
After serving as a Graduate Residence Director while obtaining my M.Div., I knew I wanted to pursue a career in Residence Life. While applying for jobs Gordon caught my eye as the mission statement aligned perfectly with an environment I wanted to be a part of. As a person in ministry, I seek opportunities to be God's hands and feet outside of the church. Gordon is a place that is intentional about building Christ-centered relationships while creating opportunities for spiritual growth. I truly believe God has placed me at Gordon for such a time as this.
What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
I really enjoy walking alongside students as they navigate the many joys and challenges college has to offer. Identifying as a first-generation college student allowed me to understand how important a strong support system is while seeking your goals. Residence Life is one of the strongest foundations in creating spaces that are Kingdom seeking and creating community on campus.
What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
Gordon College is centered on creating Christan leaders who will represent the Kingdom in all work fields. I look forward to being a part of a larger purpose and community that is Christ-centered. The campus is beautiful and has many nearby opportunities for adventure in diverse cities.
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I enjoy reading, exploring new places, having intentional conversations, going to concerts, and cooking.
What is your favorite college memory?
My favorite memory from college was the opportunities I got to travel and participate in mission trips. My favorite trips were to Israel, South Africa, and Mexico.
