You will meet your new support system: the International Student Services (ISS) staff and the International Student Organization (ISO) students, who will encourage you over the next several years.
You will learn how to access on-campus resources for international students, including SEVIS/F-1 Visa guidance, Academic Success Center (ASC) resources for ELL students (e.g., students for whom English is not their first language), and peer mentors in the Koinonia Mentorship Program.
There's a lot to learn about being an international student at Gordon College, and we can't wait for you to see all that is in store. Whether you are starting the semester on-campus or off-campus, you are part of our Gordon College international family. See you soon!
Please check your email for instructions from Ingrid Orellana about how to access the pre-arrival content on Canvas. Read the handouts, watch the videos, and join the discussion!
Stay tuned to your email for special links to our digital live events and hangouts during the week between International Student Move-In Day and the First Day of Classes. These email notices will come from Ingrid Orellana, as well.
