Interested in a full M.M.Ed. degree program? Apply by April 1 to begin your studies this coming summer. This program is designed for those with teaching experience who are ready to challenge themselves to achieve their full potential for success as a music educator - leading to eligibility for the Professional License in Music. Flexibility and provisional acceptance is possible for candidates who do not immediately meet all application requirements by the April 1 deadline. No GRE or MAT scores required! Learn more ➔

Initial License (Pre-K through Grade 12, All Disciplines: Choral, General, Instrumental)

This program is designed for those who have completed a baccalaureate degree program in a discipline other than music education. The program leads to eligibility for the Initial License in Music, enabling participants to secure K-12 music teaching positions in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts public schools. Students may take up to three courses before the formal program application is required, allowing students to get started right away. Fall, Spring and Summer Term start times are available! Professional License (Pre K through Grade 12, All Disciplines: Choral, General, Instrumental)

This program is designed for music educators who already have their Initial License and hold a Master's Degree in another discipline other than music education. Students may select the 12 credits from master's level courses offered during the summer term, leading to eligibility for the Professional License. A flexible admissions timeline allows students enroll in courses before building a complete application portfolio as they progress through the program. Our Workshops and Professional Development program is open to any and all music educators at any stage in their career. They are a great opportunity to potentially earn graduate credit, explore a topic of interest, enhance your skills and be challenged as an educator. Weekend intensives are available during fall and spring semester, and our signature workshop week for music teachers takes place each July. Topics and clinicians vary and scholarships are available for new music educators. Learn more ➔
