The program leads to eligibility for the Initial License in Music, enabling participants to secure K-12 music teaching positions in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts public schools.
The course schedule is meant to meet the needs of working professionals, career changers and current educators, with convenient meeting times in the evenings, and during the summer term.
12-Credit Option for Professional License in Music

Upon completion of 12 credits of coursework drawn from the Master of Music Education curriculum, students will be eligible for Professional Licensure.
