Business Administration Courses

Completing the Business Administration major requires at most 52 credits in total. The major and Gordon’s core curriculum fit easily into a 4-year undergraduate program. The following courses are required:

Required foundations courses

ECB101  Principles of Microeconomics
ECB102  Principles of Macroeconomics
ECB211  Statistics in Business and Economics
ECB311  Intermediate Microeconomics

One of the following courses or equivalent validation:

MAT134  Survey of Calculus
MAT141  Calculus I

Business Administration core

ECB117, 118  Principles of Accounting I, II
ECB245  Principles of Management
ECB277  Principles of Marketing
ECB247  Financial Management
ECB492  Senior Seminar: Management, Strategy and Ethics

An additional 8 credits of economics and business coursework within the major at or above the 300 level including MAT324 Operations Research and CPS356 Management Information Systems.

Double majors in accounting and business administration will not be allowed to use the following courses as electives for their business administration major: ECB352, 353, 361, 362, 364, 443. Students must continuously maintain a 2.0 GPA within the major.
