What brought you to Gordon?
I initially came to Gordon as a Consortium student from Westmont College my sophomore year. Once God got me out here, He made it clear I was supposed to stay.

What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
The students, by far. Getting to know so many different people, and to have the privilege of walking alongside them for this brief time of their life’s journey. It is a gift. Seeing people grow in their relationship with the Lord is the most rewarding experience I know. Even to have a small part in that process is amazing.

What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
It is my home, and has been for almost 15 years of my life. I don’t know if I can pick a single favorite thing out, but I do love how many memories are tucked around almost every corner of this campus.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
Hanging out with my family, baking, cross stitching, doing puzzles.

What is your favorite college memory?
Junior year, my roommate pulled about a dozen small pranks on me all throughout the day. At the end of the day, she short-sheeted my bed. When I got in bed, I realized what happened, but didn’t want to give her the satisfaction of a response . . . so I pretended like nothing was the matter. I was on the bottom bunk in our room, and she tossed and turned until her head poked down above me, and said, “How do you do that!!!” I smiled and fell asleep.

What is your favorite hall event?
NYHOP! Our tradition of a sit-down, made-to-order, pancake breakfast each quad is well loved by both the staff and the residents. The event has a family-like feel to it. Everyone looks forward to it!
