What brought you to Gordon?
I worked for a few years as an RD at another Christian institution in the Midwest and really enjoyed the work! When my wife Leigh (pronounced Lee) got accepted to Gordon-Conwell for a master's degree, I decided I wanted to continue to work at a place like Gordon. I’m drawn to the diversity of students and culture at Gordon and in the Northeast.

What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
I love discipling students and the variety of the work. Every day is another chance to learn and to enjoy life with students as they make decisions and create rhythms that can carry them through this life. They are my teachers and so it is fun to learn together.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I enjoy time with my wife, going on road trips to the small things like Montreal Bagels or Buc-ee’s. I can’t stop reading and love to bake confections and breads.

What is your favorite college memory?
I’ll give you two :) The many times a week we would head over to Taco Bell where we would play credit card roulette to see who would pay for it. And the other would be the spring break mission trip to Daytona Beach.
