What brought you to Gordon?
I applied to work at Gordon because of the College’s outstanding reputation for academics, student development, and Christian community. I’ve only been here for a year and this has absolutely proven to be true. My wife and I already call Gordon our home.
What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
I have a passion for loving and leading students through their residential college experience. I am blessed to be a part of the transformation that students go through on this unpredictable journey called life. And I’m so grateful that faith is integrated into everything we do.
What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
Besides the residents of Chase Hall, my favorite thing about Gordon is the beauty of the campus. One of the ways in which I experience God every day is by enjoying His creation. I love meeting with students while hiking around Coy Pond and Gull Pond and observing the changing of the seasons.
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I am an avid volleyball, racquetball and tennis player. You can also hit me up for some badminton on the mini-quad. When we get the chance, my wife and I love to travel (we both studied abroad twice in college). And you just can’t beat a good book.
What is your favorite college memory?
I went on three blind dates freshman year with roommates, but ended up marrying their other roommate.
What is your favorite hall event?
Coffee House/Art Show: Each semester we have this event showcasing the talents of Chase residents. The performances in the past have included acoustic guitar, violins, cellos, singing, stand-up comedy, poetry, prose, and special guests. We then take the artwork (paintings, drawings) from the event and decorate the hallways and lounges with it.
