What brought you to Gordon?
I was first introduced to Gordon back in high school when I attended the Compass Program run through La Vida. Gordon quickly became home when I began attending as a student and throughout my time there, I had so many adults pour into me, support my walk, and mentor me through various seasons of life. After some years away, my husband and I have felt that God is calling us back to the area to give back to the institution that provided so much for us. We are truly elated to be back on campus and pouring into this community we highly value.

What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
I love being able to do life alongside students and be a resource and friend as they navigate such a transformational season of life. Overseeing an RA staff as well is such an honor as you work together to create a safe, fun, and growth-filled hall community.

What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
Gordon is a place in which there is so much opportunity to grow in faith. This collective goal is one that seeps into all aspects of campus including academics, extra-curriculars, chapel, residence life, and more. It is such a beautiful opportunity to be a part of this community of believers that are ready and willing to grow. I also love the area surrounding Gordon as there is always an opportunity for adventure, whether that’s chatting at a local cafe, heading to the beach, or exploring coastal towns.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I love cozying up with a cup of tea and a good book, playing board games, and exploring all New England has to offer. Some recent hobbies include creating floral arrangements to gift to family and friends and feeding my love for snacking by learning the art of snack boards (to make for when company is over of course!). My husband and I have also made it a goal recently to collect a diner mug from every state as diners are our favorite!

Favorite memory from college:
There are too many to count but some of my fondest memories were study nights on my floor, trips to Ocean Lawn, and running the Events Council in my dorm!
