What brought you to Gordon?
God convicted my heart for New England. In order for the gospel to saturate this region of the country, there needs to be more Christian leaders who glorify God with their lives. Gordon is where the future leaders are. I wanted to be part of impacting future leaders of churches, of this country, and of the world.

What is your favorite part about working in Residence Life?
Building relationships is what I enjoy the most. God calls us to live in community, and building relationships is what community is about. At the same time, community in the residence halls is very unique. It is a great opportunity to build life-long friendships, and yet those relationships take time and effort. Most importantly, we have the opportunity show Christ’s love to one another in this community.

What is your favorite thing about Gordon?
All Departments work together for one purpose. It’s great to see faculty working closely with other staff.  Gordon's holistic approach to developing leaders is very unique. Mind and life crash into one another to bring about change and growth in a person.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I love playing sports. I am not athletic but I enjoy sports for recreation: basketball, flag football, ultimate Frisbee, tennis, snowboarding, softball, volleyball, racquetball, rock-climbing and etc. I also love playing board games. My favorite game is Settlers of Catan.

Favorite memory from College:
When I stood in the hallway, I could hear Simpsons playing in every room because all of the doors were open. We had a hall that was so close that all the doors were open all the time. Each room was used for different usage: a room to watch movies, a room to play video games, a room to play computer games, and a room to read comic books. Obviously, Sunday night, everyone watched Simpsons.

What is your favorite hall event?
Our annual hall BBQ. I enjoy grilling and being able to provide food for students!
