La Vida Staff: Adventure Pursuits
A.P. (Adventure Pursuits) leaders facilitate half day, whole day, and two-day overnight experiences for schools, churches, and youth programs. A.P. leaders work with teams of two to ten staff to provide adventure programming on both the low course team-building elements and the high course elements. Belay training and testing is required (see belay training times) and staff follow a leadership growth plan. We ask that A.P. leaders commit to at least four to five events per season. A.P. days occur mainly on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and occasionally during the weekdays.

La Vida Staff: New York
The New York staff runs wilderness trips for May, June, July, and August Gordon College trips and for groups that come during the summer season. Working for La Vida's wilderness expedition program as a sherpa or support staff member is an exciting and rewarding adventure that develops growth in both leaders and participants. Three weeks of professional medical and sherpa training is provided during the summer.

La Vida Staff: Adventure Camp
La Vida Adventure Camp is an incredible opportunity to have fun playing games with kids, growing in leadership, and working in an intentional staff community on Gordon College's campus. Staff lead small groups of 11–15 year-olds on the low and high ropes course, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, and large group games. Staff help youth draw meaning out of these experiences and build character, a positive self-identity, and a commitment to care in serving others. Adventure Camp is a day camp that takes place for eight weeks in the summer, including training. All staff have room and board provided.

La Vida Staff: Rock Gym
The La Vida Rock Gym offers volunteer and paid staff positions to operate our public climbing program on weekday nights. Staff can also work as facilitators for private events, such as birthday parties and climbing courses. Staff follow a growth plan designed to provide opportunities to develop leadership, facilitation, customer service, and climbing skills. Belay training and program specific trainings are required for these positions.
La Vida Staff: LEAP (Leadership Experiences in Adventure Programing)
LEAP program staff will work alongside the full-time La Vida staff in all program areas as well as marketing, research and office tasks.
