Many of you may have been aware that our friend and classmate, Sastra Chim-Chan was tragically killed shortly after we graduated in the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide. In that brief time, however, what you might not know, is the lasting impact Sastra was working to make in his home country of Cambodia and beyond.
And right now, Sastra's niece, Lakena, is studying here at Gordon. She and other Cambodian students want to train at Gordon so that they can return to Cambodia after graduating to make a difference for their country.
