Michael Portnoy is a Director at PwC, a global professional services firm with more than 284,000 employees in 155 countries. Michael analyzes macro, capital market, and M&A trends to determine potential impacts on PwC and its clients. His outlooks have been published in The New York Times Dealbook and The Journal of Commerce, as well as presented to the White House National Economic Council and the Council of Economic Advisers. 

  
Before joining PwC, he covered consumer and technology sectors as an equity analyst for Morgan Asset Management. Michael's responsibilities included co-managing the primary equity model portfolio used for institutional and private clients. He also worked with clients as a portfolio manager for separately managed accounts. 


Michael has held various adjunct faculty positions, and his experiences include teaching corporate finance at the University of Tampa as well as investment finance at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Michael has earned the CFA and CMT Charters and is a past director of the Orlando Society of Financial Analysts. He is also a past Board Member and Treasurer for South Hills Church.
