Douglas Tengdin has worked in the financial industry for over 40 years, from securities runner and mailing list manager to bond and currency trading desks at major banks to managing billion-dollar portfolios to serving as chief investment officer and Executive Committee member at a multi-billion dollar fiduciary and family-office firm.
Douglas was the founding President of the Vermont CFA Society and has been grading the CFA exam since 2001. He is passionate about the intersection of finance, ethics, cross-cultural understanding, and quantitative analysis. He brings a practitioner’s eye to the practice of portfolio management and financial innovation, always with a focus on fiduciary obligations.
