Elementary Math Education Minor (grade 1–6)

The mathematics minor for elementary education majors provides a strong background for teaching mathematics at the elementary school level and prepares elementary education majors to seek a Mathematics 1–6 initial license. Students in other majors who are considering teaching in a private school setting may also complete the minor to learn how to effectively teach elementary mathematics.
