The Department of Language and Linguistics recommends that students studying Spanish and who are required to study abroad for a minimum of one semester select the CIEE program. (Please note: These programs are approved ONLY for students majoring in Spanish)

As a Spanish major, you pay regular Gordon semester costs (tuition, light board, housing and fees) and will be eligible to maintain all scholarships toward the cost of the program. The following is included:
Personal expenses, local travel, extra meals and course material are not covered.
Global Understanding core credit can be fulfilled by this semester program when students participate in the pre- and post-departure New Perspectives course. Lab fees apply as of Fall 2013. Visit the GEO for details or go to the GEO Global Understanding webpage.
All Gordon students applying to study Spanish abroad with CIEE must first submit an online seat application (link available to Gordon students only) to participate in a Global Education program. Only after you have been approved by the Global Education Office for study abroad, may you proceed with CIEE's online application. (Please note that CIEE's application deadlines vary. Please check their site.)
