Summer Visit

Even though our students and faculty are tackling research projects and traveling the world, we welcome you to visit our campus during our Summer break. Take a campus tour, meet your admissions counselor, and chat with a coach, music representative or professor who might still be on campus. Summer visitors and their guests are also welcome to stay overnight on Gordon's scenic campus any night of the week (per availability). Visits are available Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Wednesday, May 20, 2009 to Friday, August 14, 2009. We are excited to set up a visit that is convenient for you, and two weeks' notice typically allows us to arrange requested visit options.

Visit Options

  • Stay Overnight at Gordon
While our current students are gone for the summer, we welcome visiting families to enjoy on-campus accommodations ($15 per person, per night). Our 460+ acre campus is located just 25 miles north of Boston, MA--a place of rich national history and a center for education and research worldwide. Boston's North Shore also offers access to numerous beaches, historical sites and museums, in addition to lakes and beautiful walking trails right on campus. Please click here for more information about on-campus accommodations, or make a reservation now.

  • Campus Tour (Monday-Friday--10:40 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.)
Join current students on a walking tour of campus.  The tour is approximately one hour and twenty minutes and is available to visiting students and accompanying guests.

  • Admissions Interview with an Admissions Counselor
This is a required part of Gordon's application process available to high school students entering or in their senior year and transfer students.

  • Q & A with an Admissions Counselor
An informal discussion available to all visitors.
  • Connect with an Athletic Coach (per availability)
Learn how you can pursue athletic excellence at Gordon!
  • Connect with Undergraduate Music (per availability)
Enjoy a tour of the Phillips Music Center and hear how you can continue developing your musical talent.
