Students outside in summer

Summer Visit

Summer Visits: May 23–September 13, 2011

Even though our students and faculty are tackling research projects and traveling the world, we welcome you to visit our campus during our Summer break. Take a campus tour, meet your admissions counselor, and chat with a coach, music representative or professor who might still be on campus. Summer visitors and their guests are also welcome to stay overnight on Gordon's scenic campus any night of the week (per availability).

Summer Visit:

(A tip: If you plan your trip to campus two weeks in advance, it helps on our end to make sure your visit will be enjoyable. If you can’t schedule two weeks in advance, call us at 866.464.6736, and we’ll be sure to accommodate your needs.)

Visit Options

  • Campus Tour (Monday–Friday 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.)
Join current students on a walking tour of campus. The tour is approximately one hour and ten minutes and is available to visiting students and their families.

  • Grab a bite—Gordon-style (Optional if your arrival time is 11:50 a.m. or earlier)
Admissions will arrange for you to enjoy lunch with a current student, who can answer your questions in a more personal setting. Here's your chance to get the inside scoop!
  • Admissions Interview (Required, available for Seniors/Transfers)
We want to get to know you! Tell us about your interests and life experiences. Your interview is followed by a Q & A with family members.

  • Q & A with an Admissions Counselor
Connect with an admissions representative who will walk you through the application process and tell you about our merit-based scholarships.
  • Connect with an Athletic Coach (per availability)
Learn how you can pursue athletic excellence at Gordon!

  • Connect with a Music Representative (per availability)
Discover how you can develop your musical talents at Gordon. Interested in learning about our music ensembles? Come to our Music Information Session. Or, if you're interested in music as a major/minor, meet individually with a music representative.
  • Transportation (Available for students traveling alone)
Transportation is offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. We request two weeks notice to coordinate your transportation needs. Please contact our office to check availability before purchasing your ticket.

  • Stay Overnight at Gordon (June 20-August 7)
While our current students are gone for the summer, we welcome visiting families to enjoy on-campus accommodations ($15 per person, per night). Our 460+ acre campus is located just 25 miles north of Boston, MA—a place of rich national history and a center for education and research worldwide. Boston's North Shore also offers access to numerous beaches, historical sites and museums, in addition to lakes and beautiful walking trails right on campus. Please click here for more information about on-campus accommodations.

*Overnight accommodations with current Gordon students are occasionally available for students who visit campus without accompanying family members. Please note that all overnight visits with current students are subject to the availability of our overnight hosts. Students visiting campus alone can inquire about the availability of this visit option by calling the Admissions Office, 866.464.6736.
