Apply to an Honors Program

Global Honors Scholars and A. J. Gordon Scholars

To be eligible for one of Gordon’s four-year scholarships, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application by November 1 (Early Action II).

Students who are admitted to the College and receive one of our top two academic scholarships will be invited to apply for one of the four-year scholarship programs.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the Four-Year Honors Application Form (sent along with your invitation).
  • Attendance at Gordon’s Honors Day, scheduled for Friday, December 1
  • An in-person interview with program directors and staff

Students who are interested in the program but unable to travel on this day should contact the program director.

Clarendon Scholars

To be eligible for one of Gordon’s four-year scholarships, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application by December 1 (Early Action III).

Students who are admitted to the College and receive one of our top three academic scholarships will be invited to apply for one of the four-year scholarship programs.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the Four-Year Honors Application Form (sent along with your invitation).
  • Attendance at Clarendon Day, scheduled for Monday, February 5
  • An in-person interview with program directors and staff

Students who are interested in the program but unable to travel on this day should contact the program director.

Beyond Year One

Following their first year, Gordon students in good academic standing are eligible to apply to additional honors programs: the Jerusalem and Athens Forum, Kenneth L. Pike Honors Program, Scholar’s Semester in Oxford, Departmental Honors, Science Seminar and Honors Societies. Interested students should visit each program’s page for specific application instructions, and discuss the opportunities with their academic advisor.
