The course packet is a great resource that includes information about the expedition, how to prepare, and a checklist with due dates for items that need to be completed.

Complete Precourse Paperwork
Please complete all paperwork listed below by one month prior to your La Vida Expedition.
- Medical Requirement Checklist: La Vida has access to these forms
- College La Vida Release Forms: Include proof of insurance
- Essential Eligibility Criteria: Full description and explanation here
- Allergy and Dietary Need Details Form: Please only fill this out if you indicated an allergy or food need on your La Vida application.
Order Gear (Optional)
If needed, you can order outdoor gear. These are optional recommendations and not a complete gear list. Review your packet to see a thorough description of what type of gear is needed. You will also be able to borrow some equipment from the La Vida base camp before the start of your expedition.
