Following a 12-year career directing research and development efforts in the materials science industry (thermophysical properties of metastable materials, non-linear acoustics and focused acoustic fields, novel functional inorganic materials, fuel cell and battery technology, amorphous metals, etc.), Dr. Lee accepted a calling to teach undergraduate physics - even as he maintains his research interests and activities in material science.

Dr. Lee enjoys fly fishing and fly tying, classical piano, hiking, camping and reading.

Dr. Pleticha serves as Research Report Editor for the Interdisciplinary Biblical Research Institute.  Interests include Physics Education Research, Mathematical Models for mechanical Systems, and Astronomy. He recently has worked on research projects involving orbital motion and special relativity.

When not playing with physics, Dr. Pleticha enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking in the White Mountains.



Stan Reczek

Early retirement from his position as Executive Vice President at the North Shore Medical Center, allowed Professor Reczek to pursue a long-planned return to teaching physics.    

When not at Gordon, he enjoys hiking and canoeing, is active in his church, and finds working around his home and yard a pleasant diversion.

Following a career in industrial research and development Dr. McNatt committed himself to teaching undergraduate physics and to mentoring students to successful careers in science and technology. His primary interests are optics, energy, and the history of 19th century science - an area in which he has recently published.  He is also very conversant with optical and electronic instrumentation. 

His hobbies include working around his home and yard, golf, and reading and writing about scientists from the late 1800s (particularly Maxwell and Farady).
