PUBLIC SAFETY
The Department of Public Safety works to ensure your safety and holds the community accountable for proper conduct as defined in the Student Handbook. Whether providing a late night safety escort, responding to a police or medical emergency, providing a jump start or unlocking a door, Public Safety officers share the desire to serve the Gordon community to the glory of God.

They serve a dual role at Gordon:

• Massachusetts Special State Police officers who enforce the laws of the state on campus.
• Employees of the College who share in the campus goal to live together for Christ.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICE (EHS)
The EHS office at Gordon College is managed by the Physical Plant Department. The duties of this office include maintaining institutional compliance with:

• State and federal regulations regarding environmental and occupational health
• Emergency medical services
• Fire safety
• Other aspects of dormitory and classroom safety

The safety of the campus is of the utmost importance to every member of the Gordon community and we all have our part to play.

Safety is everybody's business.
