1. Review the Comparison Sheet

The comparison sheet will help you determine when would be the best time for you to enroll in your Discovery experience. Research indicates that courses like these are often most effective when taken early in the first-year transition to college, so we recommend enrolling for the fall unless your schedule conflicts.

2. Indicate your preference for a fall or spring Discovery class 

This step is completed in your Course Selection survey through GC101 in early June.

3. Check your course schedule during Orientation

If you choose to enroll in a fall Discovery class, your course schedule will show you if your class will take place during the first or second quad.
