La Vida Center for Outdoor Education

La Vida Center for Outdoor Education houses six adventure programs that provide experiential learning environments that foster character and leadership development to prepare you for Christian service. For 38 years, La Vida has offered quality programs for churches, schools and youth organizations in New England and beyond. Programs take place at Gordon, the landscape of Cape Ann, the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Adirondack State Park in New York. Facilities include:

• A 30-element high and low ropes course in Wenham, MA
• An indoor rock gym in Wenham, MA
• A 75-acre expedition base camp in Lake Clear, NY
• A circuit high course in Lake Clear, NY
• Hundreds of acres of ponds, trails and hills on Gordon's campus

Gordon students have the opportunity to hike, canoe or kayak this summer in the Adirondack Mountains as a part of a one of a kind core requirement. You can also choose to participate in an 8-week challenge course class on campus that fulfills this requirement.
