GORP Team Building

GORP: Gordon Outdoor Recreation Project

GORP designs challenge course experiences and adventure learning opportunities for youth and young adult programs. GORP experiences are ideal for groups desiring any of the following:

  • Team building
  • Leadership development
  • Spiritual formation
  • Interpersonal development
  • Personal growth and discovery

Many groups enjoy GORP:

  • Churches: youth groups, young adult groups, confirmation classes and mission trip team building 
  • Schools: public and private schools, individual classes or grade levels, middle or high school students, leadership development and adventure classes
  • Clubs: non-profit groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, after-school programs and youth sports teams

GORP Facilitators

GORP staff are trained, compassionate servant leaders who desire to make your GORP experience fun and rewarding. Staff are Gordon students, graduates and professionals on the North Shore. 

GORP facilitators develop their group facilitation, recreation leadership and challenge course skills with the La Vida Center for Outdoor Education. All staff receive intensive ropes course safety training and testing approved by the state of Massachusetts.
