Top-of-the-line cleaning company designed to empower immigrant women through employment.
Every year, thousands of women immigrate to the Greater Boston Area from Brazil in search of work, and often begin their new life as a house cleaner. These women face significant difficulties, including a language barrier, a lack of financial and educational support, as well as physical stress.
Vamos Cleaning Co. is a top-of-the-line cleaning service designed to not only provide employment for Brazilian immigrants, but also to meet their needs in adapting to life in America. Our employees are given English lessons, professional development and physical care.
Our goal is to dedicate 20-40% of our earnings towards impact for our employees. Impact funds cover language training, professional development and physical care. Vamos’ client demographic includes middle to upper class, suburban homes in the Greater Boston Area.
We are ready to hire our first employee. An investment of funds will help cover the costs of initial cleaning supplies, training and onboarding of new employees, and boosting sales.
