Second Hand Vintage Clothing Store That Offers Unique, Affordable, & Sustainable Clothing
There is a massive amount of waste and pollution in the fast fashion industry. In America alone, we throw away over 26 billion pounds of clothing every single year. That is 80 pounds of clothing per person on average.
Jawn Supply offers a unique and sustainable solution. Through curating and up-cycling second-hand vintage clothing, we spread awareness about this problem while keeping you dressed in some of the most unique styles.
We sell our products online through our social media platforms and our website. We up-cycle our clothing by doing custom tie-dying, embroidering, and screen printing on clothing that would have otherwise been thrown into landfills.
For Jawn Supply to be able to grow, we need to invest in storage space, necessary shipping and cleaning equipment, revamping our website, and advertising.
Benjamin Rowe '20 (Business Administration)
Emma Ellsworth '20 (Business Administration)
Jawn Supply was started by Ben, but he quickly realized that he needed the help of a partner to properly grow and scale his business. He decided his best business partner would be his fiancée, Emma. Ben and Emma are both Business Administration Majors at Gordon College. They each bring a unique set of skills to the business; Ben brings years of vintage knowledge, a creative mindset, and a photography and marketing background. He will be a full-time employee and will be in charge of sourcing, sales, and marketing. Emma will be working at Vanguard full time starting this fall and will be assisting with financials, bookkeeping, and website management on the side. Together, they seek to embody the mission of Jawn Supply by being advocates for environmental sustainability.
