The Student Ambassadors provide opportunities to involve and connect students, alumni, and friends of Gordon College while encouraging philanthropy and community, and instilling College pride. Ambassadors serve as representatives of the excellence of a Gordon education and showcase the impact that the College has made on their lives.
The Student Ambassadors are currently accepting applications for the '21-'22 cohort. Applications are due April 16th.
The Student Ambassadors program is made up of four committees:
This committee works with the Admissions Department to help provide meaningful experiences for prospective students visiting Gordon College. It also participates in admissions events as well as ongoing personal correspondence with prospective students throughout the year.
This committee works with the Alumni Department to provide opportunities for Gordon alumni to interact with current students through social and networking events. Homecoming and Christmas at Gordon feature concentrated alumni interactions with Student Ambassadors.
Career and Connections Institute Committee
This committee desires to serve the Gordon community by forming and solidifying relationships with local professionals and organizations. Additionally, it aspires to represent the student body through professionalism at events hosted around the campus.
This committee works hard to promote hospitality and generosity among our student body. Each year, the Development Committee assists with Gordon's Giving Tuesday event, encouraging current students towards gratitude and participation. The committee also spearheads expressing thanks by creating handwritten notes to donors.
