Art faculty members are professionals in each of their specialty areas. They are artists who teach the very media they practice, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and design.

  • Faculty members exhibit their work nationally and internationally from New York and Boston to St. Petersburg, Russia and Florence, Italy.

Gregory Deddo

Assistant Professor of Art

Gregory Deddo is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in painting, photography, and video. He graduated with a BA in studio art from Judson University and holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Matthew Doll

Matthew Doll is a painter and graphic designer. He is the Program Director of the Gordon IN Orvieto semester program, where his Disegno / Drawing course serves as the cornerstone of the curriculum. Previously Doll taught drawing at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem for six years. Associate Professor of Art

Kelly Foster is an architect and multi-disciplinary designer. A native Texan, he has lived and practiced architecture in several Texas cities, in Boston, and in the North Shore area. Sophie is a sculptor, woodworker, and restoration carpenter based in Boston, MA.

She brings a deep curiosity for how historic architecture is not irrelevant, but in fact integral to giving both context and inspiration to contemporary design.

Deborah Garbee Stanton is a professional artist born in Lynchburg, Virginia. She trained in pastels and oil painting from age 9 in a portraitist's atelier.
