Social connection is essential to our health and wellness.
People who feel more connected to others have lower rates of anxiety and depression, have higher self-esteem, are more empathic to others, more trusting and cooperative and, therefore, others are more open to trusting and cooperating with them. Social connectedness generates social, emotional and physical well-being.
The Peer Connect Program aims to increase social connection by way of Peer to Peer Mentor-Mentee relationships.

As a member of the Peer Mentor Team, you'll build supportive connections with students through 1:1 pairings.
Peer Mentor Candidates will be required to meet with the Peer Connect Coordinator for a brief interview to ensure that qualifications and experience match program objectives.
