I desire to lead my life in an effort to help people experience new things, thereby enticing growth in tastes, interests, and philosophies. More than this, I aim to find happiness in myself, God, my surroundings, and relationships with others. I endeavor to be as patient and kind as I can be with others and myself.
As an artist, I intend to refine and enhance my abilities and skills to create purpose- ful and intricate art. It has long been my belief that the purpose of art is to provoke thought. I aim to create atmosphere and space that incite a riot of fresh thinking, cre- ativity, and conversation. In this way, I hope to emulate the Creator, for He designed an inspiring and marvelous world for us to experience and grow in; as He created, so shall I create.”
This installation is a tribute to my childhood and the sweet sadness of reflecting on the past.

Constellations
By Nick Payne
Directed by Ryan Cannister
Theatre is intended to be approachable for everyone. When artists and audiences have a sense of agency in the theatre and eliminate any sense of elitism or selfishness we can more fully enjoy, react, and engage with the work. High quality and thought provoking products can still be achieved when theatre is approachable. It is my mission through the use of ensemble, cohesive storytelling, and creativity to craft productions that create a sense of community and inclusion among all people.
-Ryan Cannister
This spellbinding, romantic journey begins with a simple encounter between Roland (a beekeeper) and Marianne (a cosmologist). But what happens next defies the boundaries of the world we think we know—delving into the infinite possibilities of their relationship and raising questions about the difference between choice and destiny.

Behind the Unknown
By Audrey Wilcox
Theatre is designed to create a brave space for the audience to engage in another person’s reality. If done effectively, the audience transcends and discovers that they are part of something bigger. I strive to make the innerworkings of theatre efficient and effective, through creating clear, detailed communication channels between each production staff member to foster an authentic environment. These paths help the team understand their influence on each other, the process, and the audience. Through this, each person discovers something new about themselves and their oc- cupation. When this is achieved, the audience and the production team can look up and out to learn, connect, and grow with someone in a different paradigm.
Behind the Unknown dives into the process of Production Managing The Mini-Fringe: The Unknown Unknown. Hopefully, this will encourage you to investigate something new in your own life and take a step into the unknown.

Let’s Just Get to the Story
Directed by Kayla Gardner
The imagination of children is endless. There are worlds upon worlds created within these developing minds, where fuzzy monsters reside and hamsters can fly. I’ve come to realize that, as we grow older, this imagination slowly crumbles. In my old notebooks from elementary school, I find stories of witches, a teddy bear who goes through the wash, and a girl who owns coyotes. Where did the imagination go?
Phase one of this project was a solicitation for scripts. I asked my peers to send
me stories they had written when they were in elementary school. I also went to North Shore Christian School in Beverly and worked with children in the afterschool program to help them write creatively. I received positive remarks from friends as they looked back at their old work and were reminded of good childhood memories.
Phase two was to create a theatre production from the stories collected. With my cast I chose which pieces would be included, and we linked the stories together to make a cohesive plot, trying to stay as close to the originals as possible, grammatical errors and all.
I think children can teach us a lot, especially things that we’ve learned before, but have forgotten in the busyness of life. I want this production to remind everyone of the importance of imagination and creativity—that these can be utilized throughout our entire lives. Please enjoy this night of laughter and mystery, no matter your age.

“We all have the ability to achieve our dreams, if we have the courage to pursue them”
—Walt Disney
Over a year ago, Brynn and I stumbled upon a line in a Wikipedia article that changed our lives. The next year and a half was filled with countless hours of work, but my dreams really are coming true.
In the world around us, we see so many things that separate us as people. We need to realize that humans have a special gift: the gift of creation. When a group of people get together to collaborate, what is created is something innately beautiful. It is my hope that, as you watch, you will be able to see light, when so often we are confronted only with darkness.
Lastly, I would love to list you all, but I fear I won’t have enough space. To my family, friends, the Theatre Arts Department, and the cast, crew, and audience: Thank you. You inspire me to keep creating.
